Leyburn, Wensleydale, North Yorkshire
The Teapottery has, since 1978, been making original and witty artisan teapots in the very best English traditions of quirky pottery.
There's almost no limit to the items which they can use as their inspiration for their delightful designs - caravans, trains, computers, toasters, bellhops, even the front door of Number 10 Downing Street has been subjected to their ceramic wizardry.
We're delighted to be able to stock a few of their food-related designs. Some, such as their Farrah's of Harrogate or theirTate and Lyle teapot were made at the request of the company concerned. Others, such as their Wensleydale Cheese teapot, their Aga and their Yorkshire Range commemorate British institutions.
Whichever design it may be, these teapots are made with such talent, wit and humour that they've captivated the hearts of many over the years - just part of the reason why they're now to be found in every corner of the globe.
