Bracken Hill Fine Foods are one of North Yorkshire's best-known preserve makers. Run by Neil and Gill Maycock, they rightly pride themselves on the wide-range of delicious jams, marmalades, curds, chutneys, jellies, sauces and pickles which they produce.
Wherever possible they use locally-sourced ingredients, including a new range which they are currently in the process of launching from fruit trees in their own newly-acquired orchard at Sutton-upon-Derwent. Over the years their preserves have been recognised with awards of the highest order, including over 20 Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food.
We're delighted to stock a cross-section of their jams (includingloganberry, three fruit marmalade, black cherry jam and a classic Yorkshire lemon curd, jellies (including chilli, Thai and wild hedgerow), pickles such as the very-popular Farmer's pickle and Wold Top real ale pickle, and much more besides.
