A blisteringly hot chilli jam - unsuprisingly, since it's made from one of the hottest chillis in the world. On the Hot-o-meter this one rocks in at a spicy 9.1 out of 10, but don't think that it does so at a cost to its flavour. Chilli jams are a surprisingly versatile store-cupboard staple. By all means use them as simple dips, or in sandwiches, or to liven up a cold meat platter, but using them as ingredients opens up a whole range of possibilities - marinade chicken or fish, or add a good dollop to a stir-fry to add heat and flavour in an instant. You can even slice a pocket in a chicken breast and fill it with mozzarella slices and chilli jam to create Chicken Leeds!
